Patrick Barkey and Alan K. Wilson were honored recently with first ever awards by the Muncie Sunrise Rotary Club. Barkey, economist and director of the Bureau Of Business Research at Ball State, was presented with the Vocational Service  Award on February 8, 2002. This award recognizes Rotarians whose actions exhibit the highest standards of their profession.

Wilson, a local attorney, was given the Four Avenues of Service Award by Rotary District Governor Bill McFadden on April 5, 2002.  This award can be given once per year to  those who excel in all four Rotary service areas.

The Muncie Sunrise Rotary Club is one of over 30,000 Rotary clubs worldwide promoting "Service above Self."
